Halloween (Detroit) - Revelations 23:1 (The Dream)

I'd lost my way, bound in torment, never free
As I laid my head to rest, this is what I dream
All the past had gone away, and a new world had risen up
From the ruins of yesterday, we once called home

Where the fires of hell are burning, the beast ois locked away
Earthquakes and famines, cripple their last prey
Sinners scream and lose their fight, dragged down into hell
God has cast them all aside, now they'll learn their lessons wll

Can you hear them scream, asking to be forgiven
Burning in the fire, cast out forever

When the son of the jackal comes, and judgement day arrives
Which side will be on, on which side will we die?
It's not too late to save ourselves, and change the hands of fate
And fight the battle of life itself, before it's too late

Don't be afraid of the light, it can see you free forever
Stand up and fight, happiness should never fade away

Now I raise my head to find, the end is still to come
The things I dreamed will happen? There's no place we can run
We're all sinners, but God we try, to give our lives to you
Forgive us and our brothers, and guide us in what we do

Don't be afraid to stand up and fight
Be proud to believe and be strong
For life can last forever
In your dreams
In your heart
In your strong
